RIDE LIKE A PRO CROSSES THE FINISHING LINE

After 15 dealer ride outs up and down the country, the Jaguar Ride like a Pro competition reached its exciting finale at Fen End Circuit. 38 finalists competed on two wheels and four for the opportunity to join Team Sky at their winter training camp.

As part of The Director Sportif challenge, all finalists had to navigate a coned course in an XF Sportbrake, which like the cycling event demands precise, controlled aggression. Once completed it was then on to two wheels for a demanding 7 lap, 10 mile time trial around the circuit with Team Sky's Performance advisor Shane Sutton providing words of encouragement from the XF Sportbrake support vehicle.

Whilst waiting their turn competitors could experience a hot lap in the passenger seat of XKR-S, F-TYPE V6 S and V8 S or jump behind the wheel of an XJ Supersport on the skid pan.

And so to the winners...

Big congratulations to Charlie Revell, who took part in the Roger Young Dealer ride out, Cathy Anderson from the Listers Worcester ride out and Jeremy Wooton from the Harwoods Group event. They'll all be heading out to the Team Sky training camp in Majorca, you can view the full leaderboard here.

The ride continues in 2014

With next year's Tour de France Grand Départ in Yorkshire, the Sky Pro Cycling Jaguar XF Sportbrake will once more be in the heart of the action. With this in mind, we'll be hosting more cycling events and rides in 2014, so please keep a look out for future communications from us.
